Solid wood panels & 3‑layer panels

Formwork panels are either solid wood panels (also known as scaffold planks) or 3‑layer plywood panels, designed for use in concrete formwork. These panels are made from high‑quality spruce or pine, ensuring strength, stability and reliable performance on construction sites.

  • Qualities

Our 3‑layer formwork panels consist of three glued layers, providing excellent dimensional stability and load resistance. Depending on the intended application, the panel edges can be fitted with galvanised steel edge protection, safeguarding the ends of the panel against mechanical damage and ensuring a longer lifespan.

  • Applications

Formwork panels are primarily used for slab formwork. The standard size is 200 × 50 cm, with a thickness of either 21 or 27 mm.

Panels without steel edge protection are typically used for beam formwork.
High‑quality panels can also be used to create fair‑faced concrete surfaces, where no visible panel joints may remain after pouring. These premium panels are often resin‑coated and sealed along the cut edges to ensure a smooth surface finish and prevent moisture penetration.
