Hardboard

Hardboard is made by pressing wet wood fibres.

The fibres are spread on a mat and compressed under high pressure and high temperatures. The water drains away through a sort of sieve placed underneath, which gives the rear side a waffle pattern.

    The wood fibre boards can also be pre-lacquered white before delivery and sawed to size.
