Gutex® Wood Fibre Insulation

Gutex® wood fibre insulation is a fully natural product, free from harmful or chemical additives. Thanks to the unique properties of wood fibre boards, this insulation not only provides excellent protection against cold in winter but also keeps heat out during warm summer days. In addition, the boards deliver outstanding acoustic performance and ensure healthy moisture regulation within the building envelope. This makes Gutex® wood fibre insulation particularly suitable for timber frame construction.

Gutex® Multiplex-top Undersheet

Rain-resistant, windproof and robust

Gutex® Multiplex-top enables rainproof wood fibre insulation with minimal build‑up height. This undersheet is suitable for new-build roof constructions, roof renovations from the inside or the outside, installation above the roof insulation layer, and as a protective layer behind ventilated façade systems.

The board’s high vapour permeability and pronounced moisture absorption-and-release capacity ensure long-term hygrothermal safety. Its windproof tongue‑and‑groove connection provides reliable protection against unwanted air infiltration.

Key performance features:

• Proven rain resistance with tolerance for up to 3 mm joint formation
• High hail protection, class HW4 (TÜV tested)
• Can remain exposed to weather conditions for up to 12 weeks as a temporary roof
