Okoume plywood is a lightweight and homogeneous panel, valued for its good suitability for surface coating and its versatility in joinery and interior fit-out. Thanks to its exterior bonding, it is also suitable for applications in protected humid conditions and for light construction work.

Qualities
- Species: okoume (Aucoumea klaineana), origin Gabon
- Faces: grade B/BB; face side with few knots and uniform colour; reverse side with spliced veneer allowing knots, patches and colour variations
- Appearance: light natural colour; uncoated surface ready for finishing
- Easy to process (sawing, routing, painting, sanding, gluing, screwing)
Applications
- Lightweight panel with low density, easy to handle and install
- Homogeneous structure offering good stability and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio
- Suitable as a substrate for finishes (paint, veneer, laminates)
- Suitable for decorative panels, joinery, partitions, furniture, packaging and light construction
- Suitable for use in protected humid environments thanks to exterior bonding
