Qualities
The panel has a water-repellent effect due to the paraffin processing. FiberTech Top also has extremely good sound insulation values.
The panel prevents thermal bridges thanks to its low thermal conductivity and high heat capacity, and it also provides additional protection against the cold during winter and the heat in summer. FiberTech Top is furthermore very suitable for use in vapour permeable structures due to its low vapour diffusion resistance factor.
Applications
FiberTech Top is used specifically in timber frame construction as a wall element or roof underlay. The board can also be used before the final exterior wall finish or as a roof underlayment. In both cases, FiberTech Top guarantees protection against rain and snow for up to four weeks.
