Our safeguard rails can be painted in any colour requested by the customer. Boards can be coated on two or four sides, and we can also apply your company name and/or logo directly onto the plank.

At Hout–Bois van Steenberge, all safeguard rails are finished in a fully automated paint line. After painting, the planks are dried for several hours in a controlled oven environment, ensuring a uniform, durable coating. This process guarantees that our C24 safeguard rails meet the highest quality standards and are ready for intensive use on site.

  • Technical specifications

C24 safeguard rails comply with Belgian legislation and the General Regulations for Labour Protection (ARAB), Article 434.

This regulation requires collective fall protection whenever employees are working or moving at heights above 2 metres.
    In line with ARAB guidelines:

    • Fall protection must remain continuous, except at designated ladder access points.
    • Rails must be sufficiently high.
    • A compliant guardrail system must include a top rail, intermediate rail, and toe board.

C24 safeguard rails form the wooden component of this safety system, ensuring secure, reliable edge protection on construction sites.
