Glulam 01

Glulam is glued laminated wood known for its exceptional stability, strength and dimensional accuracy. It is composed of carefully selected, dried and pre‑planed lamellae that are bonded under high pressure to form a single homogeneous structural element. In German‑speaking countries this material is also known as BSH (Brettschichtholz), but within the international wood construction sector, Glulam is the standard term.

Thanks to its advanced lamella structure, Glulam offers superior mechanical performance compared to solid wood and enables larger spans as well as complex shapes.

  • Free pick up in our warehouse at Zottegem.
  • Shipping within Europe possible.
  • Available dimensions and thickness

    • Thickness: 60 – 280 mm (in 20 mm increments)
    • Width: 100 – 1000 mm (in 40 mm increments)
    • Length: 4 – 18 m (longer lengths available on request)
  • Qualities

Glulam consists of individual lamellae that are finger‑jointed in length and subsequently glued, planed and pressed to the desired height. This results in structural components that are stronger than solid wood and offer improved technical and static performance.
