Garden shed in Lignia with an insect hotel

Joene Verschuren, owner of Houtbouwsels Joenes, has built a beautiful garden shed made of Lignia in Mortsel for the storage of gardening tools. During the design, attention was also given to additional features for the garden shed. The front was equipped with a modest, stylish bench. The black side with the beautifully decorative and practical wooden lattice will, in turn, be set up as an insect hotel for bees and other insects.

Lignia is the perfect choice for the creative use of a garden shed with an integrated insect house. Thanks to the modification process that Lignia has undergone, it is highly durable and therefore very resistant to the invasive forces of decay, fungi, and insects.
