Full wood panels and three-layer panels

Formwork panels are full wood panels – these are solid wood panels, also known as scaffolding planks – or three-layer panels (plywood) that are suitable for the construction of formwork in concrete construction. Spruce or pine wood is used for this.

The plywood formwork panels are glued in three layers and - depending on the intended use - have a galvanised sheet steel edge protection on the front side.

Formwork panels are mainly used for floor formwork. The standard dimensions are 200 x 50 cm with a thickness of 21 or 27 mm.

Formwork panels without edge protection are used as formwork for beam formwork. High-quality panels can be used to form fair-faced concrete surfaces on which no panel joints are visible once the concrete has been placed. These high-quality panels are often coated with resins and sealed on the sawing edges.
